These collages are the response to an exercise my psychologist gave me: “is there any activity you do without overthinking while you do it?” Yes, paper cutting.

In the face of the lack of creativity, the anxiety, some pain and the endless lockdown in an unusual country, this was the response to my depression. During weeks I cut character by character, frame by frame. Once cut I let them be in a lid and then I storaged them. When I finished the second comic I thought that instead of saving all of them y could just remake the cartoon in just two pages.

This series starts with this collage that I reuse from the comic “El Guerrero del antifaz” de Publicación Juvenil, chapter “Salvando mi vida”  from 11-1-1975, that my sister bought from me in El Rastro, Madrid.
